Today's the day the new catalog goes live.

I will be having my annual Open House on June 11th at 1:00 PM. There will be projects using some of the new In Colors, stamp sets and Designer Series Papers, there will be lots of goodies and I will have my retired stamp sets for sale at ridiculously low prices. Plan on coming for a fun time.

My mother, Janet Walker, peacefully passed away Wednesday, May 4th, just 3-1/2 weeks following the death of my sister. I am so thankful to have been able to stay with her following my sister's death. Mom was 94. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother, Nana to 7 grandchildren and GrandNana to 7 great grandchildren. I am blessed beyond words to have been her daughter. She taught me how to be a woman, a mother and a friend by her example. Mom had a strong faith and loved the Lord. She is now reunited with my dad, my brother and my sister and that gives me tremendous comfort. She will be cremated and her ashes scattered on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville, NC, the same spot where Dad, my brother and my sister's ashes have been scattered. Should anyone wish, contributions in her memory can be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2409 Members Way, Lexington, KY 40504. I thank them for the excellent care and support during the past two weeks. I also thank my amazing and loving family and my friends who kept us lifted in thoughts and prayers and even care packages. You have kept me going with your love and friendship.

My youngest son, Jason, flew up to Lexington for two days. He was able to visit both of his grandmothers and see aunts, uncles, and cousins that he had not seen for awhile.  We went to the races today before he flew out along with my other son, Jeff, and his wife Becky. I love the horse races and have always tried to visit Lexington in April and October when they are racing. This was Jasons first hourse race. It was also nice to be able to get away for a few hours as my time is now spent caring for Mom.

Here is another Sneak Peek I saw on the blog of fellow demonstrator LeeAnn Greff. It's the new In Colors that will be out in the upcoming catalog. Thought you might like to see them. Aren't they just yummy!

I don't have my own copy yet of the new catalog but I have been able to see it online through our demosntrator website and have been able to watch some videos from the recent On Stage Convention in Salt Lake City. Let me just say it is filled with some pretty wonderful new products. I thought I should give you just a hint of what's in store.

One of my favorites is a stamp set and coordinating punch that was used to make this adorable card. It is on my "gotta have"  list for sure. And just look at all of the cute animals you can make besides the fox.
