We did another card using the stamp set Nature Walk this week because I wanted to demonstrate the technique used on the eggs and because I just love this set and really hate to see it retiring. The eggs are stamped with Early Espresso ink and they are “puffed out”. To do this turn the card stock over and place it on a paper piercing mat. Use a stylus and move it around under the stamped egg images. This breaks down the paper fibers. resulting in the puffed out look. You need to do this carefully. If you do it too much the paper might tear. Once you have this done fill in the distressed area with dimensionals. The splatter on the card stock is done with the spritzer tool and Early Espsresso marker.
Stamps: Nature Walk
Ink: Early Espresso, Markers: Espresso, Certainly Celery, and Baja Breeze
Paper: Baja Breeze, Early Espresso, Certainly Celery
