Somehow last year just flew by and here we are in 2020. Seems like only a short time ago we were ushering in the year 2000. Do you remember all of the concerns regarding things crashing back then? I was still working in the hospital laboratory and it was crazy all of the documentation we had to go through to make sure our instruments would still be working. We even purchased headlamps in case electricity went out. Yep, crazy.
I have been making CD calendars for years and this is my page for January. I don’t generally make resolutions but I am going to try to remember to post the calendar pages at the beginning of each month this year.
Someone asked me yesterday if I missed snow and the answer is YES! Growing up in Iowa, winter was definitely a wonderland. So even though I’ve lived in Florida over 50 years I have never adjusted to not having snow at least for Christmas.

Hi Kathy. I was born in Belle Plaine but grew up in Storm Lake. It was a perfect place to grow up. We moved to KY when I was 16 and have spent the last 50 years in Florida. I still miss snow and the beautiful flowers that don’t grow in our heat. Are you also from Iowa?
