Happy Spring

I am so in love with this bunny from the Fable Friends stamp set. This card was inspired by one from Nicole Künzig with a few changes to make it my own version.

For the subtle dots in the background I pulled out a retired favorite stamp from Gorgeous Grunge which was stamped off before stamping on the white card stock using Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, and Pear Pizzazz Ink. I stamped the bunny on the white just to know the placement of the green leafy image on either side of the ears. I used a small stamp from Forever Lovely stamp set for this however you could use any small leafy stamp. I colored it in witih a Pear Pizzazz marker. I then stamped the bunny again on scrap white and colored the image with Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut (that means cutting by hand which makes some of my stampers a bit fussy themselves!) I personally love to cut but not everyone does (smile). The punched out flowers were crumbled up to soften the paper and make it easy to squish them up next to each other.

Living in Florida makes having a Disney annual pass a must if you like Disney and theme parks … and I do. My favorite of the four parks is Epcot and right now the Flower and Garden Festival is going on. I was there a few weeks ago and snapped a few photos of the beautiful flowers.

This display was made from improperly discarded trash.

And finally a day at Disney isn’t complete without a Mickey sighting.

Have a beautiful weekend.
