Today, January 3rd is the go live day for the new Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs. Stampin’ Up! never disappoints with new products. While I have been able to pre-order I still have a very long shopping list of must haves. You can view the new catalogs by clicking on the images below or on the links on the right sidebar.
Exciting New Cling Stamps!
Have you ever had your stamp fall off the acrylic block? Well read on. You’ll love these new stamps.
Beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure, all new stamp sets will be available either in cling (for red rubber stamps) or photopolymer.
Due to the declining sales of wood mount stamps they will no longer be available beginning with these catalogs and the new 2019-2020 annual catalog with the exception of the large background stamps.
Labeling cling stamps is a slightly different process than you may be used to. It is important to follow the steps below to assemble cling stamps. Each cling stamp case will also include labeling instructions.
- Remove the paper backing from the label.
- Remove your selected stamp from the rubber sheet and remove the paper backing from the stamp.
- Line up the foam side of the stamp with the image label, then press it evenly to adhere it to the label. Make sure it is correctly positioned before you adhere it to the stamp.
- Remove the stamp and its newly-affixed image label from the label sheet.
- Place the stamp on an acrylic block to begin stamping.
Best Practices
To remove the stamp from the block, grasp securely near the image label and remove slowly. (Cling stamps stick so well that if they are not carefully removed from the block, the foam can tear.) To clean the labels, simply rinse under running water. Avoid alcohol-based cleaners.
I have not used any of my pre-ordered stamp sets and have not yet attached the labels to the stamp. I have seen demonstrator comments regarding how well they stick. No more falling off the blocks. However they stick so well that you do need to be careful in getting them off the block. One demonstrator put a piece of washi tape over one corner of the stamp making it easier to lift the stamp from the block. See below.
Are you wondering where to find this adorable frog stamp? Isn’t he just the cutest thing! He’s one of the many FREE Sale-A-Bration choices with a $50 order.
Have a great day.
