I am in a special group and there was a challenge last week to clean up our stamping space and post the photos of before and after to the group. Now I can create a real mess when I’m stamping but what I realized from this group is that most people do. And not everyone cleans it up right away. That has been my problem partly because when I am being creative I don’t know when to stop and then I’m too tired or my back hurts or I have something else that has to be done. Any number of reasons for not cleaning up including it’s not fun to clean. So I thought I would share my before and after pictures with you.
This is the worst because when I don’t have time to clean and put away I shove things into the closet and then close the doors.
This photo was part of the cleaning out process which resulted in even more of a mess.
It was a huge task which took the better part of a day. Sorting through card stock and putting stamps back into their cases. Ugh! One thing that really helped was giving myself permission to throw away things I never use or small pieces of card stock.
Happiness is ….. a clean stamp space.
If you have a cluttered stamp space I challenge you to a clean-up. It feels great to have it organized and neat.

Great job Beth-
I recently cleaned my stamp/scrap room, purged a lot and got a few pieces to organize better from Ikea-so much better-feels really good! I have been able to find everything I need quickly-except for one thing, and even that didn’t take long!

It does feel good to have a clean place to stamp. Good for you.
Looks great. Do you hire out? Mine is a mess…
You did a great job. I have done that several times this summer. It would be a lot easier to do it each time.
I love the room when it is all organized and everything is in its place. Then I start another card and in a few minutes I have a mess and can’t find what I am looking for. So glad this is normal.
