Christmas has just passed and before we know it Valentine's Day will be here. The new Ocassions catalog has such a great new stamp set called Sealed with Love which is full of hearts and some absolutely love-filled sentiments. And there is a Framelit set to coordinate along with a DSP paper stack, ribbons, embellishments and more. I knew I wanted to make a card for Valentine's Day for this weeks classes but just as I was working on this I needed to mail out some late Christmas gifts and wanted to stick in a small note. I keep some 3" x 3" note cards on hand for those times when you just need a small card. I decided to create 3 note cards instead of doing one regular card. This is what I came up with:
The base of the note cards is white card stock cut 3" x 6" and scored at 3". For 2 of the cards I used DSP as a mat and the other card used red card stock as the mat. It's a little difficult to see that the hearts in the die cut on the middle note card pop out. I also added a pearl to the middle of each one. The twine that I used to tie around the little envelope is a retired white and red twine. As you can see below and in the catalog there is a bundle which combines the stamp set and framelit dies with a 10% discount.
