Two of my favorites retiring in just a few weeks are the Word Bubble Framelits and the coordinating stamp set Just Sayin'.
For today's card I did not use this stamp set but did use the Word Bubble Framelits. They can be used with any words or sentiment that fits into the space which makes them very versatile. This card wasI CASED (Copy And Share Everything) from Dawn Olchefske. Her blog is DO Stamping. My only change was the paper I used.
The stamp set used here was in a recent Paper Pumpkin Kit. The cardstock is Coastal Cabana, one of the retiring In Colors. While that color is sold out, the stamp set Just Sayin' (above) and the Word Bubble Framelit Dies are still available. Retiring stamp sets are guaranteed until May 26th. Accessories are only available while supply lasts but as of this morning the Framelits have not sold out. And the great news is they are 50% off. What a great deal. So how did I do this? Stamp the sentiment and then run through the Big Shot with the Framelit in place. DO NOT pop out the cardstock yet. Use a thin line marker to draw around the inside edge of the Framelit. Then just pop out the piece of cardstock and you have a nice black edged sentiment in a bubble. Cut out another piece of cardstock in the coordinating color and mat the left side.
