Merry Christmas!

It is early Christmas morning and the house is quiet and all aglow with the tiny white lights of the tree and the mantle decorations. I love so much about Christmas and sitting in the quiet with the lights is just one of so many things. Because my daughter, a nurse, is working today we did our Christmas family get-together last night. We went to church first, then came home to dinner and presents. We decided to do soup and salad bar again after doing it at Thanksgiving and everyone liking it so much. My daughter, my son, and I each made a different kind of soup. We had quiche, the salad bar, and some assorted cheeses and crackers and breads. For dessert I made a fruit pizza.

My daughter, Lynn Ann, got engaged yesterday. We are all so excited for her and Don.

I realized after looking at photos this morning I didn't really take many and didn't get a good one of Jason, my son, so will have to get some more pictures today. He gave Lynn Ann and I the same gift three different times and we had to do a bit of guessing to figure out what the gift really was. This is one of them which is a bit difficult to see that it is a bag of sugar and a large spoon. Then we each got an umbrella. Can you guess the gift?

He is taking us to see the play Mary Poppins.

Then the last gift we each had to open at the same time was a child's tube of lipstick with a Disney princess on it. That one took us a bit longer to realize. The princess was Belle. He is taking us to Orlando to see the play Beauty and the Beast. Very cleaver Jason. And what fun gifts. Anytime I am with my children is special. I also got this unusual gift from Lynn Ann and Don.

And here is one of the many Christmas cards I made this year. I just loved the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and matching Framelits. I used the wreath to make Fall and Thanksgiving cards and I already am planning on some Spring wreaths.

And finally, here is an ornament I made. I was inspired by the one fellow demonstrator Laura Baxley made and only changed it a bit by adding the doily and silver tinsel to mine. There is some white chunky glitter inside along with some of the snowflakes from the Frosted Sequins pack in the Holiday Catalog. The stamp set is White Christmas.

Christmas SU OrnamentRemember that items from the Holiday catalog are only available through January 5th. If there is something you want you still have time to get it before they go away.

Merry Christmas to all. Have a Blessed day.

I like the ornament with the red truck with the tree on it’s roof driving in the snow. Also has 2 cardinals in the tress.
Can you send me info where I can purchase this?
