Well, only if you look at my collection of new stamp sets. It certainly doesn't feel much like it here in Florida. We are still very hot and humid … and rainy. But there's nothing like some bad weather to make you want to stay inside and stamp! I am so excited with all of the new stamp sets I have gotten from the Holiday Catalog. Last week I got together with some stamping buddies and we made 50 Christmas cards to send to our servicemen overseas. I used the Festival of Trees photopolymer stamp set to create this card. I did use up some of my retired papers but other colors can easily be substituted.
Stamps: Festival of Trees, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso
Paper: Vanilla, Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, Retired Designer Series Paper, Gold Glimmer Paper
Misc: Tree Punch, Small Star Punch, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Retired Ribbon
I have the Stampin' Up Color Caddy for storing my ink pads and ink refills. What's so nice about it is that there are trays on the top to hold the ink refills. However every time I needed one I couldn't see the labels so I would pick them up, one by one until I found the right color. Well, a few weeks ago I fixed that problem with a 1/4" circle punch and some glue. I punched out corresponding cardstock dots and glued them to the top of the lids and now I can spot the right color with a quick glance.
Have a Blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping by,
Love the idea for the ink refills. Finally took the time to do it to mine. Thanks for sharing it with everyone.
