At convention one of the presenters, Lydia Feidler, showed us samples of Zentangle. I had never heard of it and was anxious to try it. I discovered it really is easy and such fun. So what is Zentangle? It is a way to create beautiful images by drawing structured, repetitive patterns. Stampin' Up's Blended Bloom flower is perfect for doing this because of all of the different petals.
It does take a little time to fill in the petals with different patterns like the one on the top right. But the other two patterns are actually quite quick. Here are the cards I did:
I stamped my image using Momento Black Ink and filled in the petals with a fine point black marker. The Designer Series Paperp is Back to Black. I did an internet search and found oodles of images and patterns that could be used.
Thanks for stopping by,
Love your cards, Beth! Zentangling is SO much fun! Thanks for sharing the new samples you searched out, too.
Thank you so much Chris.
