We have been working on Valentine's Day cards in classes the past week. I love red, black, and vanilla together so that was the first step in designing this card. From there I looked for hearts and found plenty including stamps, punches, and embossing folders to create this card.
Stamps: Language of Love
Ink: Real Red
Paper: Real Red, Black, Very Vanilla, Modern Medley DSP
Misc: Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Rhinestones, Adorning Accents Embossing Folder, Adorning Accents Edglets, Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Small & Large Heart Punches
The card below was inspired by one I saw done by demonstrator Vickie Burdick. I made a few changes and created this card:
This card easily adapts from a Valentine's Day card to an Anniversary card or even a Friendship card just by changing the sentiment. And you can see how different color bows make the card look a little different. My class stampers had a choice and about 60% of them picked the Rose Red ribbon over the Artichoke ribbon. Unfortunately, both of these ribbon colors have been retired. But you can make this card using a different color combination and ribbon color.
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Rose Red
Paper: Rose Red, Pink Pirouette, White, Always Artichoke
Misc: Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Hearts Framelets, Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Tasteful Trim Die, Seam Binding, Polka Dot Embossing Folder
