I was looking online today for Christmas ideas and came across this beautiful curly Glimmer Paper wreath that was displayed at a recent Stampin' Up! event. I just love anything that sparkles or shines.
I looked for directions for curly paper wreaths and this is what I found:
Cut about 6 sheets of 12" x 12" paper into 1/2" strips. Curl the strips by running them between your thumb and a bone folder or scissors, being careful if you use scissors. Start at the middle of the strip and curl towards the end and then repeat on the other end of the strip of paper. To avoid paper cuts it may help to put a Band-Aid around your thumb. Attach to a Styrofoam wreath with pins.
I just may have to make one. Think of the possibilities, especially if you are using Stampin" Up's double sided Designer Series Paper.
