And the inside of the card:
For this card I used the Halloween Hello stamp set that is in the Holiday Catalog and paper from Witches' Brew DSP. The piece of paper with the birds is from Modern Medley DSP. My color palette is pulled directly from the colors in the DSP. I sponged ink around the edge of the large Summer Starfruit circle and offset the witch and attached it with dimensionals to make it appear as though she is flying in front of the moon.
Stamps: Halloween Hello
Ink: Black, Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Black, Vanilla, Summer Starfruit, Witches' Brew DSP, Modern Medley DSP
Misc: Black Glimmer Brads, Summer Starfruit Ribbon, Scallop Border Punch

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, ever since I was a little girl. I had the best costumes made by my mother and often with help from my father. Nothing store-bought. In elementary school we got to wear them and we paraded through the other classrooms. Halloween night we went door to door throughout the neighborhood getting the best treats, back when Trick or Treating was safe and so was the candy. Caramel apples, popcorn balls, and all kinds of candy. There was one house that gave out shiny new pennies. And another house that always gave out wax whistles. Those were always two things we looked forward to. This is one of my very favorite costumes, Martha Washington. Thanks, Mom, for making so many great costumes.
Thanks for stopping by,
Beautiful graphics and layout for the card. Also, enjoyed the photo. All my costumes were store bought.
Thanks Steve. I bet your Halloween costumes came from Strickler Spooner. I loved that store when I was a kid. It was the owner of that store who gave out the wax whistles.
