This card was inspired by a convention swap I received. I wish I could give the demonstrator credit because I loved her card and even though I made a few changes to her design the idea belongs to her. But I can't give you her name because I accidently threw it away cleaning up my stamp room and the trash went out today.
It took me awhile to realize that the lightest color flower is cardstock covered with Washi Tape from the This & That collection. It's such a great look. A little glossy. And so easy to do. Just cover a piece of cardstock with the tape and punch out the flower. The coral flower is punched from This & That DSP and the background is a piece of paper from that pack also. It has a bright white background so I lightly sponged some Crumb Cake ink over it.
Stamps: Flower Power
Ink: Pool Party, Crumb Cake
Paper: Crumb Cake, Vanilla, This & That DSP
Misc: Pansy Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch, Boho Blossom Punch, Pearls, Dimensionals, Needlepoint Embossing Folder, Secret Garden Framelit

My grandchildren all just started back to school. Two are in Kentucky and my oldest grandson lives here in town. He doesn't look too happy in this photo however he was ready to go back. I always took a photo of my kids the first day of school too. I iimagine there were a lot of "First day of school" pictures being taken this week.
Thanks for stopping by,
