Kit Classes

I am really liking the fact that the Holiday Catalog has so many kits available. I had a stamp party today and had my Halloween Banner hanging up so people could see how truly nice it is.  Everyone commented that is was much larger than they realized from looking at the catalog and that the canvas pennants are such a good quality. The catalog describes them as being paper canvas which might lead one to believe that they are not very sturdy. That is not the case. They are not paper. They are canvas but not heavy. I have quite a few people signed up for the Halloween Banner class. Why not join us? There are two options for this class and two different dates.

Thursday, Sept. 19th @ 6PM and again on Friday, Sept. 20th @ 9:30 AM

Option #1 is $18.00 and would include 6 canvas pennants and the Halloween Banner Accessory Kit.

Option #2 is $28 and is for anyone who would really like to own the stencils that come in the Build a Banner Kit. You would get the entire kit with 18 pennants and the Halloween accessory kit.

Space for these classes is limited so RSVP early to secure a spot. I will order all supplies needed for the banner.

The photo of the Halloween Banner on page 4-5 of the Holiday catalog does show a couple of Pumpkin Pie rosettes or lollies, as they are sometimes called, that are not really part of the kit. Below is the one we will be making in class.

Page 2 and 3 of the Holiday Catalog shows photos of the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit. I put together one of the napkin holders today and it did go very quickly. I didn't really think that it would be something that I would use however after getting it assembled I have changed my mind on that. It is very nice and I love the insert card that allows you to create a list of things you are thankful for. You get enough product to make 10 napkin holders, 10 tent cards, 3 yards each of birch paper and chocolate chip paper for creating centerpieces and the new chalk marker. The birch paper is wonderful. I couldn't imagine how I would use 3 yards but if you look on page 3 you can see that table has 3 containers wrapped with it and each container holding a candle. While I plan on using the napkin holders for my Thanksgiving dinner, I don't think I will use the tent cards. The catalog shows them listing menu items. My plan right now is to use those parts of the kit for making cards.

I do plan on having a special class for this kit sometime in October so be watching for that information.

I also am working on a Christmas Banner class and Christmas Tag class so be watching for that info too.

The class today was a mystery hostess class and a drawing resulted in Kim winning the hostess benefits. Congrats to Kim who gets to pick out FREE product.

Excited that Breaking Bad season premire is on tonight. I think you all know that I write posts at night, sometimes late, and then set them to publish around midnight.

And last, I want to say thank you again to my daughter, Lynn Ann, for the beautiful roses she surprised me with today. I love my kids!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
