I received this card at convention as one of my swaps from demonstrator Teresa Clark-Massey and really liked the idea of it and knew I wanted to use it in one of my stamp classes. Her red plaid paper is retired and, unfortunately, the star punches and hemp are also retired. Hopefully, you have those punches already. If not, there are many templates available for cutting stars. Teresa’s card is on the left and mine is on the right. I love red cowboy boots! I had wanted some for such a long time and a few years ago got a pair of short red boots that look like cowboy boots if you have on a pair of pants or jeans and, living in Florida, I decided a low boot would be was perfect.
Stamps: Bootiful Occasions
Ink: Black StazOn
Paper: Vanilla, Real Red, Black, Modern Medley Designer Series Paper
Misc: Rhinestones, Star Punches, Hemp, Glimmer Brad
Here are a few more swaps I received last week:
This first card was from my downline, Sheila Thompson. She used Secret Garden Stamp Set and I love the way she water colored the flowers.
I don’t have the demonstrator’s name or information for these next two cards. The pineapple was a good use of the honeycomb embossing folder. Such a good idea. And isn’t this little lion just cute! The Blossom punch was used for the lion’s mane.
Thanks for stopping by,
Just cased the boot card, it went together so quick & looks great. Hope I have more of the houndstooth paper so I can make more! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much Julee. I did love making that card and kept the stamp set just for that cowboy boot. It’s a favorite.
