Stamped & Punched Blossoms

I wanted to make a card using some of the paper and ink that will be retiring.  I never used River Rock often but I really liked it paired with Riding Hood Red.  The flowers are punched using the Blossom Punch which makes for a quick card.  The little flower stamp from Bright Blossoms is perfect for stamping the petals on the white flower. I used one of the small circle stamps from Mixed Bunch for the center of that flower and embellished it with a white brad.  The greeting is from a retired hostess set, Happiest Birthday Wishes.

I am in Kentucky visiting family.  My son and his family live in Lexington and my mother is 80 miles from there in an assisted living home.  When I come to visit I rent a car and go spend the day with Mom and then am back at my son’s for dinner and the evening.  Tonight was my granddaughter’s school performance. She is 10, in the 4th grade, and goes to a preforming arts elementary school.  The students did a variety of things including skits, songs, musical instruments, and more.  Sofia and a friend did a skit and they were the very last performance of the evening.  I do believe they saved the best for last!  Today it has been very cold and this Florida gal didn’t bring the right clothes. Brrrrr

Enjoy your time with your family! I kind of overdid it at stamp class the other night and I am recuperating right now. I love staamping! You are the Best!
