Boho Blossoms Flowers

This card was so easy to make using the Boho Blossoms Punch and with all of Stampin’ Up’s colors there are so many different color combinations you can use to make the flowers. The inspiration for my card came from demonstrator Diane Malcor. You can see her card here.

Punched flowers

The leaves are from Fabulous Florets stamped in three different directions.  There is actually a flower in the middle of that stamp so after you stamp all three the center of the card stock looks a bit messy but the punched flowers do a great job of hiding it. After stamping this the card stock was embossed.

Stamps: Fabulous Florets, Banner Greetings

Ink: Old Olive

Paper: Old Olive, Pear Pizzaz, Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant, So Saffron, Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Island Indigo, Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, White

Misc: Boho Blossoms Punch, Pearls, Square Lattice Embossing Folder

Thunderstorm Andrea really showered us today!  I woke up this morning to a pretty hard rain and I sat on the back porch just watching and listening to it. I like a good storm. It brings back memories of a childhood vacation to Lake Okoboji in Iowa.  My mother worked part time in the church office and the minister had a cabin at the Methodist Camp.  Several summers we vacationed there staying in his cabin along with the family of the other secretary at the church. One evening there was a bad storm with thunder and lightning and pounding rain. When the lights went out candles were lit and we played games. Every time there is a hard rain or storm I am transported to that night over fifty years ago when I was a little girl and we played games by candlelight.

Hugs,

Your version turned out beautiful! I love how you stamped the leaves before embossing the background. =)
