Happy New Year Friends! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a safe and happy New Year's eve. I don't celebrate on New Year's Eve anymore. It seems I just can't stay awake until midnight and I don't want to be out on the roads with people who have had too much celebrating. I had a 2 week break from stamping classes and I thought I would get some things caught up that I hadn't finished. But that wasn't what happened. I guess I needed that break because I just didn't feel like stamping or being crafty. So my annual CD Calendars that I give to friends and family didn't get done until December 31st. I am determinded to do them earlier in the year next time. So here is January's calendar page"
This might look a bit familiar. I did a similar card a few months ago. There are a few months that are harder than others to create a design for and January is one of them. I do like to have some glitter and sparkle on the January page so the confetti punch and silver glimmer paper were perfect to use. I love how versitile the swirl stamp is from Star of Light. I have used it many times for a card that is not Christmas.
The calendar pages are printed on Stampin' Up white cardstock. My friend and upline, Catherine Harwood, creates the templates each year and they can be printed from her blog 321 Stamp.
The girls love getting these calendars for Christmas and they are so much fun to make!! Thanks Beth!!
