Last week I mentioned my friend Jim built some shelves in my stamp room closet and I have been working on sorting through the mess that was piled in there. I think after several shelf adjustments I have it just right. It has become my new favorite “room” in my house. Each time I open the closet doors I get a thrill seeing so much organization. The shelving on the right side is a bookcase that was there when I bought my house. Jim added the white shelves on the left. What a great friend!
So I thought I would give you a look at the rest of the room where I spend so much of my time.
My father built the counter when he was about 85 years old so it’s very special to me. There are two stamping spaces. In the windowsill are the snow globes that I have from the different places I have visited.
I don’t know why the paper storage piece of furniture has such a sagging top. There has never been anything heavy on top. But I love it for storing my paper and albums.
